Two machinery notes need context from this re-verification pass. The CES 2026 note is corroborated by the creator's own February 7, 2026 update titled around a CES recap (updates index). The two March 2026 delivery notes aged badly: shipping did not begin in March 2026. As of July 27, 2026 the creator had completed first pilot production (June 8, 2026 update) and was still collecting surveys, with its own retail page pointing to October 2026 — the Delivery Status section below carries the current evidence.

What the Machine Is

The HD1 is a desktop dual-source galvo laser: a 450nm blue diode laser and an IR/MOPA fiber laser share a "flying 3D galvo" head that moves on three axes, combining galvo scanning speed with a gantry-scale 610 x 305 mm work area at up to 4,000 mm/s (campaign page). Per the campaign FAQ, it cuts wood, dark acrylic, stainless steel, aluminum and brass, engraves titanium alloy and anodized aluminum among many other materials, supports LightBurn (Pro license) on Windows and macOS, and carries a 1-year limited warranty. The Ultra's 60W MOPA source is a JPT M7. The campaign highlights a LightBurn software partnership and JPT as its laser-source supplier.

Show-floor coverage from APA Expo in Las Vegas (The Louisiana Hobby Guy, May 1, 2026) describes a Class 1 fully enclosed design, water cooling via external chiller, dual-camera positioning, LiDAR focusing, and live demos hitting the claimed 4,000 mm/s — within the galvo's local zone, with the head repositioning across the larger bed. That is demo-unit evidence, not a production-unit review; no independent hands-on review of a shipped production machine existed as of this pass.

All3DP reported at launch (June 11, 2025) that ACCELaser is headed by a former Snapmaker employee who the company says helped deliver on two earlier Kickstarter campaigns — a creator-supplied credential we have not independently verified.

The current line-up is two models: HD1 Pro (55W diode + 20W fiber, $3,799) and HD1 Ultra (80W diode + 60W MOPA, $6,299 preorder against a $9,999 list price) per the creator's store. The third model backers could buy — the HD1 Essential — no longer exists; see below.

Delivery Status

This campaign is the trust ledger's active case: funded 13.7x, not yet delivered, roughly eight months past its earliest estimate as of July 27, 2026.

• Original promise: November 2025 for Super Early Bird tiers, December 2025 for Kickstarter Special tiers (rewards page).
• Essential model discontinued: in a pinned creator comment posted roughly September-October 2025 (comments), ACCELaser apologized for discontinuing the entry-level Essential (21 backers at $1,549), offering an upgrade with the price difference collected later, or a full refund. A September 27, 2025 update was framed around turning the prototype into a more reliable product (updates index).
• Surveys, months after the original ship date: the March 14, 2026 public update (Update #13) shows BackerKit surveys still being corrected and the first lockdown extended to March 24, 2026 — address collection was happening four months after the earliest tier's estimated delivery.
• Production state: the June 8, 2026 update is titled around first pilot production complete; the July 11, 2026 update covers software progress, survey status and beta testers (updates index). Both are backers-only; we could read titles, not bodies.

• Backer temperature: visible comments include frustration at the length of the delay and at international shipping fees charged near delivery (one Spanish backer reported $753 in shipping for a pledge plus add-ons), alongside a creator that answers by name and apologizes (comments).

Ledger state as we record it: funded, in production, undelivered, materially late — but not silent. The creator has posted updates roughly monthly through July 11, 2026 and responds in comments.
