What Backing Actually Bought

This campaign is a textbook example of crowdfunding-as-marketing rather than crowdfunding-as-financing, and backers should read it that way:

• The $10,000 goal was symbolic for a company of GameSir's size; the product was production-ready, and Notebookcheck reported on January 6, 2026 that preorders were open on GameSir's own site at the same $34.99 — with shipping from March 15, ahead of the April Kickstarter reward estimate.
• The one thing Kickstarter backers got exclusively was the Atomic Purple colorway, which GameSir said would not be sold after the campaign (Notebookcheck, 2026-01-13).
